Information on the reserve, availability of free capacities, capacities, and capacity locations of the main pipeline networks “Kenkiyak – Atyrau”

On approval of the tariff for oil transportation to the domestic market of the Republic of Kazakhstan with entry into force on July 1, 2025

MunaiTas North-West Pipeline Company LLP, in accordance with clause 19 of Article 15 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Natural Monopolies”, as well as clause 208-19 of the Rules for the Formation of Tariffs, approved by Order No. 90 of the Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 19, 2019, notifies clients of the approval of the Partnership’s tariffs for a regulated oil transportation (pumping) service through the Kenkiyak-Atyrau trunk pipeline system to the domestic market of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2025-2030, with entry into force on July 1, 2025. 

According to the order of the Department of the Committee for Regulation of Natural Monopolies of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the city of Almaty dated May 23, 2025 No.40-OD, the tariff for the regulated service will be for the period:

from 07/01/2025 to 06/30/2026 – 11 193 tenge/per 1 ton per 1000 km (without VAT);

from 07/01/2026 to 06/30/2027 – 11 233 tenge/per 1 ton per 1000 km (without VAT);

from 07/01/2027 to 06/30/2028 – 11 259 tenge/per 1 ton per 1000 km (without VAT);

from 07/01/2028 to 06/30/2029 – 11 286 tenge/per 1 ton per 1000 km (without VAT);

from 07/01/2029 to 06/30/2030 – 11 293 tenge/per 1 ton per 1000 km (without VAT).

We would like to note that the Partnership’s tariff for a regulated service for the oil transportation (pumping) through the Kenkiyak-Atyrau trunk pipeline system to the domestic market of the Republic of Kazakhstan has not changed since 2012. 

Change of the export tariff from May 19, 2025

MunaiTas North-West Pipeline Company Limited Liability Partnership (hereinafter referred to as the Partnership) hereby informs the clients about changes in the tariff for oil transportation service through Kenkiyak-Atyrau trunk pipeline for export outside the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

By the decision of the Supervisory Board of the Partnership dated April 15, 2025 No. 3-2025, starting from May 19, 2025, the tariff for oil transportation service through Kenkiyak-Atyrau trunk pipeline for export outside the Republic of Kazakhstan was set at 11 300 tenge per 1 ton per 1000 km (excluding VAT).

Tariff for Oil Transportation Services

Specific tariff for oil transportation services of the MunaiTas North-West Pipeline Company LLP through the main pipeline “Kenkiyak-Atyrau” was approved in 2011 by the order of the Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 7, 2011 № 351-OD approved in the amount of 5,912 tenge per 1 ton per 1000 kilometers.

By Order No. 8-OD of the Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 19, 2012 (Note: on amendments to Order No. 351-OD dated November 7, 2011), the specific tariff of 5,912 tenge per 1 ton per 1,000 km was put into effect starting from April 1, 2012.
