History
MunaiTas North-West Pipeline Company Limited Liability Partnership (abbreviated title of the company — MunaiTas NWPC LLP) was created on December 11, 2001 in order to implement Kenkiyak-Atyrau oil pipeline construction and operation project. The Company shareholders are:
- KazTransOil JSC, owning 51% Company shares;
- CNPC Exploration and Development Company Ltd., owning 49% Company shares.
Core operation of the Company is oil transportation services through trunk oil pipeline.
2001 December
On December 11, 2001, MunaiTas NWPC LLP was established in order to implement Kenkiyak-Atyrau oil pipeline construction and operation project.
2004 January
Since January 2004, MunaiTas NWPC LLP has been included in the State Register of Natural Monopoly Entities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2004 June
On June 18, 2004, by Order No. 135 of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Act of the State Acceptance Committee was approved on the acceptance of the constructed facility: “Kenkiyak-Atyrau Trunk Oil Pipeline into operation, with the cost of fixed assets put into operation equalto 31 billion tenge.
2005 May
On May 16, 2005 MunaiTas NWPC CJSC was re-registered as MunaiTas NWPC JSC, in accordance with clause 1 of Article 90 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Joint Stock Companies” and the change of location (state registration number 44641-1910-AO).
2011 Novermber
In 2011, by the Order of ARNM dated November 7, 2011. No. 351-OD the specific tariff in the amount of 5,912 tenge per 1 ton per 1,000 km with the entry date from January 1, 2012 was approved.
2012 January
January 19, 2012 with the ARNM Order No. 8-OD on amendments to the ARNM Order dated November 7, 2011. No. 351-OD, a new specific tariff in the amount of 5,912 tenge per 1 ton per 1,000 km was approved and put into effect on April 1, 2012.
2016 April
On April 14, 2016, by the CRNM Order jointly with the order of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 29, 2016, the Investment Program of the Partnership for 2016-2020 was approved.
2018 June
On July 24, 2018, MunaiTas NWPC JSC was re-organized by transforming it into MunaiTas North-West Pipeline Company LLP (hereinafter referred to as MunaiTas LLP, the Partnership).
2020 June
On June 15, 2020, an act of acceptance of facilities into operation of the 1st start-up complex was signed.
2021 June
On June 30, 2021, an act was signed for the acceptance of facilities for operation at the 2nd start-up complex (technological facilities of Aman OPS).
2021 June
On June 30, 2021, an act of acceptance of facilities for operation of the pre-heating furnace facility was signed.
2021 July
Since July 1, 2021, the possibility of oil transportation in the reverse direction through the technological facilities of Aman OPS has been provided. All equipment is operating normally.
2021 November
By order of the DCRNM dated November 26, 2021 No. No. 132-OD, the tariff estimate was approved, taking into account changes for 2021.
