COMPANY'S HISTORY

History

MunaiTas NWPC LLP was created on December 11, 2001 in order to realize construction and operation project of the Kenkiyak-Atyrau oil pipeline. Company shareholders are:

KazTransOil JSC, owning 51% Company shares;
CNPC Exploration and Development Company Ltd., owning 49% Company shares.

Main activity of the Company is oil transportation services through main oil pipeline.

2001 December 11

MunaiTas NWPC LLP was created on December 11, 2001 in order to realize construction and operation project of the Kenkiyak-Atyrau oil pipeline.

2004 January

MunaiTas NWPC LLP was included into the State Register of Natural Monopoly Subjects of the Republic of Kazakhstan from January 2004.

2004 June 18

Act of the State Acceptance Commission on constructed object – Kenkiyak-Atyrau oil pipeline acceptance into operation, with total cost of fixed assets in the amount of KZT 31 bln. was approved by the Order No. 135 of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of RoK on June 18, 2004.
